Hermes, the Post Office Pension Fund, is one of the UK’s largest property investors. The upgrade programme for the industrial portfolio aims to achieve significantly higher ratings in the European Energy Performance of Buildings Director (EEPBD) which was implemented in 2006.
The £1M+ project comprised of the comprehensive refurbishment of a block of industrial units in Trafford Park, Manchester.
The external envelope was either replaced and refurbished and a full internal makeover resulted in an uplift in asset value and a higher rent roll for the client.
